Go Ahead and Take a Break

There I was….in the kitchen…AGAIN. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Was I hungry? I checked in. Nope. 🙄 Then why was I mindlessly shifting things in the fridge hoping something would stand out to me?

It was because I needed a break. All too often we#mompreneurs lack boundaries in our work. Our days start early and ends late. The middle part can be a blur between car pool lines, social media, blogs and crockpot dinners. 💪🏻

Sometimes our bodies and minds 🧠 are yearning for a break, but maybe it isn’t time yet or we feel we don’t deserve a break. 😕

Stopping to eat or use the bathroom are both acceptable reasons to take a break. 🥨💃🏻We know we can’t trick our bodies into thinking we need the bathroom but for some reason we have convinced ourselves that a snack break is totally ok. 🤦🏻‍♀️

When you find yourself head first digging in the fridge,  just know you won’t find what you’re looking for in there. 🙊

Go ahead and take the break. Walk outside,let the sun hit your eyelids until you can almost see the orange of your eyelids  lighting up.

You don’t have to deserve a break. Just take one. 🌷💥💓
